The Company is seeking a Chair for its Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, nationally recognized physician-scientist with a strong background in psychiatry, and will be responsible for advancing the academic, clinical, and research missions of the department. This role involves strategic leadership to enhance the department's education, clinical care, and research activities, as well as fostering multidisciplinary collaborations. The Chair will also be a vital partner in shaping the strategic direction of the institution and must demonstrate a solid track record of commitment to clinical care, education, service, and research, with a particular emphasis on advancing diversity in academic medicine. Applicants for the Chair position at the company should be board-certified in psychiatry and have proven leadership and administrative experience within an academic medical center. The role requires a strong commitment to medical education, research, patient care, health equity, and service. The ideal candidate will have a history of supporting and promoting diversity in the academic medical field.
