Position Summary
Our client is a spa systems and luxury home fixtures company, they are hiring a highly analytical and driven Demand Planner to lead forecasting, inventory management, and supplier collaboration across our e-commerce and retail channels.
This is a Miami-based role with a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote). The Demand Planner will partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Category Management, and Finance to deliver accurate demand plans that align with revenue targets and operational goals. The ideal candidate must have strong sourcing and inventory management experience, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and exceptional skills in Power BI and Excel.
Please note this job is 2-3 days a week in-office in the Miami area and unforunately cannot provide relocation. We cannot consider remote candidates.
Key Responsibilities
• Own demand planning and forecasting across Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Wayfair, and D2C channels.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to track demand accuracy, inventory health, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Category Management, and Finance to align inventory forecasts with revenue and budget targets.
• Identify and mitigate inventory risks, supply gaps, and overstock issues proactively.
• Coordinate international shipments, manage container timelines, and monitor overseas arrivals.
• Negotiate supplier terms to secure best pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Approve and audit purchase orders to ensure alignment with inventory plans and budget controls.
• Track inventory turnover, aging inventory, slow movers, and dead stock, with a focus on actionable inventory strategies.
• Drive cost savings and supply chain efficiencies through accurate forecasting and proactive supplier negotiations.
• Support product lifecycle management, seasonal planning, and category updates.
• Partner with Finance to support financial alignment, including demand impact on P&L and GL management.
Required Skills and Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management, preferably in e-commerce or durable goods.
• E-commerce and durable goods industry experience
• Proven track record of sourcing and negotiating with local and international suppliers.
• Experience working with Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Wayfair, or similar big-box retailers.
• Proficient in Power BI and able to build, manage, and maintain dashboards independently.
• Strong Excel skills with experience creating profitability trackers and inventory reporting tools.
• Hands-on ERP system experience (Acumatica, NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver on tight deadlines.
• Deep understanding of inventory control, SKU management, slow movers, and supply chain optimization.
• Proven ability to align demand plans with financial goals in collaboration with finance teams.
• U.S. work experience is required.
