Head of Site Management and Field Engineering

📍 Location: Dallas, TX (On-site | 50% Travel)

📅 Full-Time | Permanent

Are you an experienced leader in field engineering and construction management ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a results-driven Head of Site Management and Field Engineering to oversee and enhance the execution of large-scale automation systems installations, including material handling and parcel/sorting systems .

In this pivotal role, you will drive excellence in project delivery, ensure safety and compliance, lead a national team of Site Managers and Field Engineers, and support customer satisfaction from kickoff through commissioning.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop, and inspire a growing team of Site Managers and Field Engineers
• Oversee multi-site construction and commissioning projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
• Allocate project resources efficiently and build capacity plans based on workload
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and local health & safety regulations; conduct routine safety audits
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Coordinate multiple supplier activities and project stakeholders
• Implement project-specific procurement strategies and control site-related costs
• Maintain client relationships through clear, proactive communication and project updates
• Foster a positive, high-performing team environment across job sites

✅ Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing multi-site construction teams for BHS/PPS (Baggage Handling/Parcel Processing Systems)
• Proven success as a Site Manager on at least 3 major automation projects within the U.S.
• Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera and Microsoft Project , and experience with AutoDesk , Prolog , and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, system commissioning, layout and field coordination
• Demonstrated experience with U.S. HSE regulations; OSHA 10 certification preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical , Electrical , or Automation Engineering (or equivalent technical experience)
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus
• Certified General Contractor (CGC) license in FL or other U.S. states is a bonus

🌎 Work Environment & Travel:

• On-site project presence required (domestic travel up to 50%)
• Exposure to construction environments (weather, heights, noise)
• Use of laptops, mobile devices, and communication tools on a daily basis
