Medical Coder

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical Coder for our healthcare client located in Phoenix. This position will be 100% onsite, full-time, and a contract-to-hire opportunity for our client.

This coding position will be focused on EMS specialty and interested candidates will need to have knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, and Medicare/Medicaid rules and regulations. This position will also have productivity expectations that will need to be met on a regular cadence. 

Requirements 

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Medical Coding Certification (CPC/CCS/etc.) 
• EMS Coding certificate strongly desired 
• Minimum 2 years EMS coding experience 

Skills

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills 
• Ability to work well independently and meet production metrics as outlined by management
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid insurances, HCPCS, and ICD-10
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Can multitask and prioritize throughout the day 

Pay Details: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour
