Operation Room Assistant at Providence Medford Medical Center is 1.0 FTE time position working during weekdays and weekends on a day shift.

Functions as a member of the surgical team under the direct supervision and direction of the registered perioperative nurse. The Perioperative Aide assists in the OR function, by assisting the anesthesia provider, by cleaning and preparing operating rooms, safely transporting patients, retrieving and decontaminating equipment, stocking general supplies in the operating rooms and work room, processing and maintaining equipment, supplies, instruments, and other related equipment as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 1 year Clinical experience in an accredited hospital with operating room experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Anesthesia experience.
