Job Description

Community Health Partners (CHP) is seeking a board-certified / board-eligible general radiation oncologist to practice full time with our team at Community Cancer Institute (CCI) in Clovis, California. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional and compassionate care and will be a positive, trusted colleague. The existing group includes 3 general radiation oncologists, providing care in the greater area including Fresno, California. The practice serves two hospitals, Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) and Clovis Community Medical Center (CCMC).

The practice is equipped with up-to-date cutting-edge technology, including a digital PET / CT Scanner, 3T MRI, CyberKnife robotic linear accelerator, TrueBeam and 2 Elekta linear accelerators. We have HDR and LDR capabilities. We are staffed with 5 dosimetrists and 4 physicists.

Responsibilities

Accountabilities

1. Deliver a high standard of medical care to individuals in the community.

2. Work alongside staff members as a part of an integrated, interdisciplinary team.

3. Develop and deliver a model of care that supports the wellness of our patients and staff.

4. Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients.

5. Effectively communicate treatment plans with patients, family members, and other medical staff members.

6. Assist and advise staff members on challenging cases, as needed.

7. Refer patients to specialists or other practices, as appropriate.

8. Maintain immaculate documentation of all procedures and practices.

9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) required

Licenses and Certifications

  • Eligible to be licensed to practice Medicine in the state of California required
