Overview

Community Health Partners (CHP) is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible general radiation oncologist to practice full time at Community Cancer Institute (CCI) in Clovis, California. The candidate will provide exceptional, compassionate care and be a positive, trusted colleague. The group includes 3 general radiation oncologists serving the greater Fresno area, including two hospitals: Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) and Clovis Community Medical Center (CCMC).

The practice features advanced technology such as a digital PET/CT Scanner, 3T MRI, CyberKnife robotic linear accelerator, TrueBeam, and 2 Elekta linear accelerators. Capabilities include HDR and LDR. Staffing comprises 5 dosimetrists and 4 physicists.

Responsibilities

The Community Health System, based in Fresno, California, is a large, locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare network. It operates the region's only Level I Trauma Center and comprehensive burn center, serving as a safety net provider. In FY 2024, it provided over $216 million in uncompensated services. The system includes hospitals, a vast medical network, medical foundation, and health plan. The Community Provider Network has over 2,500 physicians, and the medical foundation, Community Health Partners, includes over 475 providers across 55 locations. The health plan, Community Care Health, is among the largest in the Valley.

Accountabilities

  1. Deliver high-quality medical care to community patients.
  2. Collaborate with staff as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  3. Develop and implement care models supporting patient and staff wellness.
  4. Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans.
  5. Communicate treatment plans effectively with patients, families, and staff.
  6. Assist staff with challenging cases when needed.
  7. Refer patients to specialists or other practices as appropriate.
  8. Maintain thorough documentation of procedures and practices.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) required.

Licenses and Certifications: Must be eligible to practice Medicine in California.
