The Shift Lead assists and supports hospital leadership in developing an efficient, productive team that provides the highest quality care and service to pets and clients. Responsibilities include following Banfield protocols and practices, day-to-day supervision of the team, ensuring quality medical care, exceptional client service, associate engagement, and maximum productivity. The role involves creating an environment for quality, efficient veterinary care, fostering associate engagement, providing professional client service including education about wellness plans and preventive care, scheduling associates to meet client needs, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and adherence to dress and grooming guidelines. Candidates must believe in preventive care, provide exceptional client and pet experiences, be available for weekend and evening shifts, be comfortable with loud noise and strong smells, be 18 years or older, and have at least two years of veterinary hospital experience.
