Now hiring for our new school year 2025/2026. We would like to invite you to attend our NATIONAL HIRING DAY with on spot interviews with the hiring manager. Location is Suffolk Workforce Development 157 North Main street Suffolk VA JULY 10TH from 10am-2pm

SITE DIRECTOR (PART-TIME): Before and Afterschool Program Site Director, Suffolk VA. Experience and management in a child group setting required. 1 year childcare experience and 1 year supervisor experience with credited college classes taken.

Schedule : AM 6:30am-9:30am PM 3:30pm-6pm

Location- SUFFOLK ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

Pay & Benefits:

• $17.50/hour

As an AlphaBEST Captain , you'll be trained to do the following:

• Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
• Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
• Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site.

Here's what you'll need:

• Must have 1-2 years childcare director/manager experience/and or BA, or Associates or certification credits/childcare. Degree in a child related field, such as elementary education, nursing, or recreation from a college or university or one year of programmatic experience.
• Must be at least 21years old
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
• Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards
