The direct to customer business represent approximately 50% of CASTs software revenue in FY21; and is expected to grow 50% year over year. Current market drivers are fueling this revenue growth with our customers. First, CAST Highlight and CAST Imaging are embedded today as a key enabling technology for their Application Modernization and refactor to Cloud offerings. Additionally, CAST solutions are key to support President Bidens Cyber EO, Federal Modernization & Cloud Policy and recent DoD Software Development memos. Lastly, CAST solutions are currently used by and endorsed by the major Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, IBM, GCP) - real time confirmation to the importance of Software Intelligence in supporting digital transformation. CAST has maintained its own GSA Schedule 70 for 10+ years.

As a Federal Solutions Architect, you will collaborate closely with the CAST Public Sector business leaders to introduce how CASTs software intelligence solutions can support mission and citizen systems that power Federal, State and Local government. You will help prospective, existing customers and their system integrator partners understand the how what makes our technology unique, develop creative solutions to solve their business & mission challenges, and problem-solve any potential technical roadblocks.

U.S. Citizenship is required. An advanced clearance is not required however government background checks may be required to support certain projects.

What Youll Do

  • Prospecting You will work closely with prospects, existing clients and partners to understand their challenges and design a solution tailored to their needs.
  • Demonstrations You will deliver product demonstrations at various phases of the sales cycle. This includes showcasing product functionality, architecture, and value delivered and impact to their business.
  • Pilot and POC You will manage this effort in sales engagements, managing a project from end to end with a clear execution plan. This includes supervising data collection and analysis using CAST technology and articulating different proofpoints (technical proof, value proof, implementation proof and economic proof). This may also involve onsite presentation to demonstrate a compelling business case.
  • Services handoff You will be responsible for formal documentation and presentation of the account to the implementation team to ensure continuity to customer success.
  • Product enhancement Your customer centric approach will garner feedback from the field (prospects, existing clients and partners), collaborate with Product Management team, and impact on our product roadmap. You will deliver customized roadmap presentations to our clients.

What Youll Have

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a complex sales process, involving different internal and external stakeholders
  • Passion for the app dev world and desire to learn
  • Experience in application development from methodologies (Agile, Lean) to technologies (microservices, cloud-based apps, serverless app) and in software solutions deployment at enterprise level
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to gain the confidence of both VP and C-level counterparts as well as the Development & Architecture leads at a client organization.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Background in software development and /or maintenance of applications
  • Knowledge of cloud principles is a plus
  • Knowledge of software security principles is a plus
  • Willingness to learn SDLC

Salary Range: $115,000-155,000 base plus bonus
