About the Internship: Are you a driven and detail-oriented marketing student ready to gain hands-on experience in the beauty industry? Style Edit is seeking a paid Summer Marketing Intern to join our team from June to August . This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to our digital marketing efforts, learn from experienced professionals, and make a tangible impact on a growing beauty brand.

This is a hybrid role , requiring in-person attendance at our Woodcliff Lake, NJ office Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 6 PM, with Fridays from 9 AM to 1 PM being remote.

What You'll Do: As a Marketing Summer Intern, you'll play a vital role in supporting our marketing team across various digital channels. Your key responsibilities include:

• Content Management: Updating images and descriptions for various marketing channels.
• Promotional Planning: Suggesting and scheduling promotions across platforms like Amazon, eBay, Walmart, TikTok, and Shopify.
• Email Marketing Support: Filling in weekly reports of segmentation and flows, and drafting engaging SMS messages.
• Platform Optimization: Auditing Shopify apps and optimizing product listings to enhance visibility and conversion.
• Trend Research: Gathering inspiration for compelling email marketing campaigns.
• Data Reporting: Assist with the collection, organization, and basic analysis of marketing data to support reporting on campaign performance.

Tools You'll Work With: You should be familiar with or eager to learn:

• G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Monday.com
• Shopify
• Amazon Seller Central
• AI Tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Jasper)

Who You Are:

• Education: Currently enrolled in (or recently completed) a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related fields. Rising juniors or seniors are preferred, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and current trends (especially Instagram and TikTok).
• Basic understanding of marketing principles.
• Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information effectively.
• Aptitude for data organization and basic reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Previously completed a similar internship.
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
• A strong passion for the beauty and hair care industry!
