The Department of Psychological Science invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position for the 2025-2026 academic year. The area of specialization is open, and a Ph.D. in Psychology or related field is required. The position is for one-year and has a six course teaching load for the academic year (three courses in the fall and three courses in the spring). The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate courses such as General Psychology, Statistical Methods, Research Methods, Brain and Behavior, as well as upper division courses in the candidate’s area of specialization. The LMU community, including the Department of Psychological Science, is composed of faculty, staff, and students from a wide range of culturally diverse backgrounds.
